Our kids love Bobby's! My husband and I love we can order everything in a mini size for our kiddos. Other places only allow larger sizes for theirs.
When you can't make it to Ted Drewes, Bobby's is a close second. Moderate line that moved quickly. Tuttle sundae is amazing. Sister got a drumstick concrete and loved it!
If you're looking for great ice cream (custard) and a cool place Bobby's is where you want to go! And now they are open in the winter. It's a great summer destination with all kinds of bands playing and family events but now we don't have to miss it for all the cold months. The turtle is probably their most popular and it's amazing. Make sure to try their caramel apples and chocolate covered strawberries when they're available. Even when the line is out into the parking lot you won't wait long. They have it down to a science and their employees are great!
I really enjoying going to Bobby's Frozen Custard when I'm in the area and lately I've been in the area quite often. The staff works hard and are friendly and quite efficient and courteous with getting the orders out in a timely manner to keep the lines moving at a good pace. I love that they offer candle apples throughout their entire season. I like the double dipped caramel apples w/out the pecans as well as the caramel pecan apples. My favorite treat from Bobby's beside the apples is there staple.....the hot fudge sundae, omgggggg........those toasted, salted pecans in the sundae are phenomenally delicious. They set the sundae off and take it to another level. It's my mom's favorite as well. Always worth the stop when over in the neighborhood.
Always a great stop for frozen custard! The staff is friendly and they have specials that are pretty good. My wife had the gooey butter cake concrete and said it was good.
Oddly, as good as soft serve custard is (and theirs is the best) we love to get hard packed Espresso and OrangeVanilla for take home. The new owners do not appear to have cut any corners. The quality is still exceptional.
A local institution for Frozen custard, you really can't beat Bobby's. They were bought out a couple of years back so they aren't truly locally owned anymore, but they kept the classics everyone loves--the turtle, the bodacious, the caramel apples. I can't help but come back every time I get the chance!
Oh my goodness. I cannot get enough of this place. I have my go-to favorites....turtle sundae, tart cherry sundae, Oreo volcano....but then they always have new specials that come out and they are so delicious!!!! And the new drive through is amazing . Bobby's really has their act together when it comes to service and they know how to run a business.
